SWAT Security ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What we collect

- Job applications: your name, contact details, licence information, work history and any résumé you attach.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
- Emails and calls: whatever you include when you contact us directly.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider records basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare a quote and arrange a site assessment.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website, and only as far as needed:

Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
4. Cookies
This website uses Google Ads conversion measurement, which can set cookies, to learn whether our ads lead to enquiries and calls. It may also show a Google forwarding phone number to people who arrive from an ad. You can control ad personalization in your Google ad settings. We save your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask again. The Google map on the Contact page can also set cookies, and loads only if you choose Accept all or press Show map.
You can change your choice at any time with (also in the footer), or by clearing your browser's site data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted.
