FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about quotes, our security guards, the areas we cover and working with us.
Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Use the quote form on any page or call 1 (800) 508-0356. Tell us where the site is, what kind of property it is and when you need coverage. A security advisor will contact you within one business day.
Is the site assessment really free?
Yes. A SWAT security advisor walks your site with you, identifies entry points and blind spots, and follows up with a written coverage plan within two business days, at no cost. Book an assessment.
How much does security cost?
It depends on your site: how many security guards you need, the hours and days of coverage, the type of property and how long the contract runs. We prepare a written quote once we understand what you need, so you only pay for coverage that fits your site.
Can you help with short-term or one-time coverage?
Yes. Along with ongoing contracts, we provide services that are often short-term, such as event security and fire watch. Tell us your dates in the quote form and we will plan coverage around them.
I need guards urgently. What should I do?
Call 1 (800) 508-0356. Our dispatch is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Our security guards
Are your security guards licensed?
Yes. SWAT Security is licensed under Ontario's Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005, and every security guard holds a valid Ontario security guard licence. Our investigators hold an Ontario private investigator licence.
What training and screening do security guards have?
Our security guards hold Standard First Aid and CPR certification and must pass a criminal background check. Before the first shift, each security guard is trained on your written post orders.
How are security guards supervised?
Field supervisors and our 24/7 dispatch check in every shift. Every site gets written post orders before the first shift, covering patrol routes, access rules, emergency contacts and escalation steps.
What reports will I receive?
You receive clear daily activity and incident reports. Mobile patrol clients also get time-stamped visit reports with photos.
