Our story
Founded by family. Built on trust.
SWAT Security was founded by a small family who shared a simple conviction: the people and places in their care deserve protection delivered with integrity, discretion and genuine attention.
In those early days the founders were the company. They walked the sites, met every client in person and held themselves to a standard they would expect for their own home. That personal accountability earned the trust of their first clients, and that trust has carried the company ever since.
Over the past 15 years, SWAT Security has grown into a full-scope security firm with more than 200 professionals serving organizations across Ontario. The scale has changed; the values have not. Every client still receives the care, candour and commitment on which the company was founded.

Our family, looking out for yours
When you work with SWAT Security, you are working with a Canadian family business. Our team of more than 200 has grown well beyond the dinner table, but we still treat every security guard like one of our own and every client like a neighbour.
From hospitals and warehouses to condominiums, shops and public buildings, we know the communities we work in because we live here too. Our dispatch is on duty around the clock, our supervisors are out in the field, and when you call, you reach people who care how your night went.
